REMAKE is dedicated to changing the top-down hierarchy of creative and academic content by centering new voices and designs from the ground up.

Our flagship annual issue is a space for the new thought and vision of first-year undergraduate students. We showcase how first-year work—everything from art to research to creative writing—changes the conversation by challenging our assumptions, rethinking our ideas, and giving new shape to the perspectives we hold and the stories we tell.

Our forum series positions the work of other writers, artists, and thinkers into the conversation going on around this central work of incoming voices. Forum features everything from original creative content to interviews, profiles, projects, and commentary. We are interested in makers who think, thinkers who make, and how the creative process can bring voices and ideas together.
